The Silver Pencils

The Silver Pencils are a flute choir with a difference.  Formed in 2018 by flutist Georgia Cooke, the music they play is based around free improvisation, graphic scores, and original compositions.  They also collaborate with musicians such as George Holroyd, Sleephawk, and Porscha Jean, providing a new medium for the artists to work with.

In 2018, The Silver Pencils held a residency at SET in Dalston, where they performed once a month.  They now play at a number of venues in London such as St Alfrege Church, Greenwich, 100 years gallery, and have played for Brunel University's graduation ceremonies.
